BOOKSAFE Account Deletion

How BOOKSAFE users can request deletion of their account and associated data.

How to request account deletion

You can request deletion of your BOOKSAFE account from inside the app:

  1. Sign in to BOOKSAFE.
  2. Open Account settings.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion request when prompted.

If you cannot access your account, contact BOOKSAFE support from the Contact page and ask us to delete your account. Please use the email address linked to your BOOKSAFE account so we can verify the request.

What data is deleted

When account deletion is completed, we delete or anonymise account profile data, booking records, customer-management data, business workspace data, saved preferences, support-linked account records, and authentication links associated with the account.

What data may be retained

We may retain limited records when required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, billing, dispute-resolution, or regulatory reasons. Payment records may also be retained by our payment processor, Stripe, according to its own legal and compliance obligations.

Retention period

Account deletion is scheduled immediately after confirmation. BOOKSAFE retains account data for 30 days before permanent removal, unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed to resolve an active billing, security, or support issue.

During this retention period, you may be able to cancel the deletion request from inside the app if the account is still accessible.
